MyKaval is a self-monitored security service. There is no central monitoring station, and MyKaval does not dispatch police, fire, or emergency services. When you receive an alert, you are responsible for deciding whether to contact emergency services. Loss of internet, power, or panel connectivity will disable remote alerts.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyKaval hardware, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MyKaval provides home security hardware and a software service that delivers sensor events and alarms from your panel to your mobile and web applications. The Service is intended to inform you of events at your property so that you can decide how to respond.

2. No professional monitoring or emergency dispatch

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

The Service is self-monitored and does not include central station monitoring.
MyKaval will not contact or dispatch police, fire, medical, or other emergency services on your behalf.
You are solely responsible for responding to alerts, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
The Service depends on your power, internet connectivity, device settings, and the availability of third-party networks and notification services, none of which MyKaval controls or guarantees.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by interfering with its operation, attempting to access it without authorization, or using it in violation of applicable law.

5. Hardware

MyKaval hardware is sold subject to the warranty and return terms provided at the time of purchase. You are responsible for proper installation, placement, power, and network connectivity of your panel and sensors.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. KAVAL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALERTS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAVAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROPERTY, INJURY, OR LOSS OF LIFE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. KAVAL IS NOT AN INSURER. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAINTAIN APPROPRIATE INSURANCE FOR YOUR PROPERTY AND HOUSEHOLD.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
